Healing Connections Psychotherapy & Counselling proudly provides capacity-building therapeutic support for participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Services are available to self-managed and plan-managed participants only. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to accept agency-managed participants.
NDIS-funded counselling is provided under Capacity Building – Daily Activities, using the following line item:
Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy or Training – Counsellor (15_043_0128_1_3).
Therapeutic support focuses on short- to medium-term, goal-oriented interventions that support participants to build skills and move toward meaningful change. This may include support with emotional regulation, understanding and navigating relationships, social participation, daily living skills, and working toward personal goals outlined in your NDIS plan.
These supports aim to strengthen functional capacity, including engagement in everyday activities, participation in community life, and supporting social and emotional wellbeing..
If you are self- or plan-managed, NDIS funding may be allocated toward counselling as part of your capacity-building supports. Your NDIS plan manager or support coordinator can assist with confirming eligibility and funding arrangements.
Note: Healing Connections is not a registered provider and as such therapeutic interventions are only available currently to individuals who are self or plan managed.
